Buddy’s growing fast. As the proud parent, I love to take his photos. He won’t stay puppy very long. I thought the Gopak No 2 would go cute with some of his photos and videos. Taking care of puppy and not playing accordion, makes for really rusty fingers. LOL… Read the rest

Such a great accordion piece. I downloaded a bunch of Scottish and Irish tunes. This was among them. I have had great fun playing it. Hoped to sound a little like a bagpipe in a few spots.… Read the rest
Stumbling. Just a fun old song. My twin Sister has been bugging me to play in the videos again. UGH So I let her take a chorus with the little Petosa. LOL Gotta keep the family happy. LOL I just thought it would be fun. I had the little Petosa out to do some sight reading and thought – why not. Words and music by Zez Confrey and published by Leo. Feist Inc. in 1922.… Read the rest
This is my 251st video. I thought it would be fun to share the “behind the scenes stuff.” There is nothing easy about making the videos – but you gotta love the sport. I have great fun with the music and making the videos. It never fails that no matter how much you practice when the camera starts – things go wrong. Most of my videos are done in one take. But there have been a few that eluded me.… Read the rest
Inka Dinka Doo – My Mom passed away three years ago on September 25 when she was 96. I was recently away camping in the rain and almost forgot this year. So I played a silly, old tune by Jimmy Durante and Ben Ryan for her. She loved to dance and would have done an old fashioned soft shoe to this.… Read the rest
I have always loved this song. I can remember hearing it when I was a kid. Always had fun playing it. Perhaps a bit more since I am older and have a Roland FR 4X! I hope you enjoy our outing today. It was much fun for me! “The Teddy Bears’ Picnic” is a song consisting of a melody by American composer John Walter Bratton, written in 1907, and lyrics added by Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy in 1932.… Read the rest
Paradise Lane. George Frank shared his transcription of this old, saloon song. It is a waltz and I am sorry to the composer and George for not playing it as a waltz. Every time I started playing it as a waltz, I thought OLD SALOON SONG and it kept morphing into it’s own style! Like Frank Sinatra said -” I Did It My Way.” I had great fun with it and I know my non-musician friends will like it. LOL Sometimes you just gotta play for yourself and your audience. LOL… Read the rest
The Man on the Flying Trapeze. A bit of Sunday silliness, Pat style. I was playing through my first accordion book and decided to give it a play and it ended up a bit different.… Read the rest
