Old Shep
Old Shep – A song for National Pet Day. I love this song. I found it in one of my country western fake books. After playing it, I knew it would become one of my new favorites. I used many photos of my own rescue dogs in the background. In the early 2000’s our shelter was very high kill. We ended up with 14 of our own and others that made it to rescue. I loved each one and they own a big piece of my heart. I hope you enjoy it, even thought it is a bit sad. Unfortunately, we all have a beginning and ending. “Old Shep” is a song written and composed by Red Foley and Arthur Willis in 1933 about a dog Foley owned as a child.
